[JAWSLite] How to stop Jaws on a word?

Hi All,
How do I set jaws to read a  sentence or whatever but stop on a
particular word, exactly?
Example, I let jaws do a lot of reading while editing  large documents
and often I need to make a correction along the way. I will hit the
control key to stop jaws reading but then I got to go through the
sentence a word at a time to get up to the word or place I wanted it to
stop at. This takes a lot of my time, so how do I get jaws cursor or the
cursor to stop where I want it to?
I use the Ctrl plus arrow keys to move through the document. I  might
have to key through the entire sentence to het to that one place.
Thanks, is there a way to better my editing with Jaws.

Control A = address Book
Inside address book Alt + E = Edit a single address or edit a list
 
Alt D = Delete Current email
Alt G = Get New Emails
Alt F = Open main file menu
Alt H = Help menu
Alt L = Move Message into folder
Alt P = Print message
Alt O = Send Too or create message!
Alt I = Options Menu
Alt U = Forward message
Alt T = Attach a file
Alt R = Go to in box or what is known as the emails that have come in or
are waiting to be read.
Alt E = Edit menu
Alt C = Connect Menu
Alt V = Favorites
Alt b = Search Net but this takes you to a Juno Home page
Alt N = Go to advertisement menu
Alt W = Enter into message area
 
Control A = Highlight everything in message or 
Control F = Find current word in txt
Control K = Temper    place marker 
Control L = Create Folder
Control N = Go to Net personalize home page
Control + O = Put current message into Outbox: as you create message you
can put it in outbox and later, send it out with others. 
Control + Shift = Retrieve any message from out of Out Box.
Control P = Print screen
Control R = Clear or save message
Control Q = Save senders email address to address book
Control Z = Undo last key or move
Control + Shift + S = Retrieve Drat message 
Control W = Exit but switch Accounts
