I'm not sure I understand the question, and others have already weighed in
on this, but in the not too distant past, I've been able to use Partition
Magic to add space to the C partition without losing or damaging the files
on the C partition. Of course, this assumes that you have space on your hard
drive containing the C partition that isn't already included in the C
partition and it's space that you're not using or don't care about. I'd also
strongly recommend backing up your system before doing this. Even though
it's possible to do this without losing any data, it's also a pretty risky
operation. I'm also not sure if Partition Magic is still available or if
other partition manipulating tools are accessible.
Formatting your partition or repartitioning your hard drive won't lower it's
capacity at all.

Subject: [JAWSLite] Hard Disk C:\>
Friends,
Is it possible to INCREASE the SIZE, SPACE of the HARD DISK (C DRIVE
) of my laptop without DELETING any Files or Folders from there?
If YES, then pls do guide me as to HOW do I go about it?
Does getting a Hard Disk FORMATTED lessen its space in anyway?
Thanking u in advance, with best regards. Anubha.
