[JAWSLite] Re: Hard Disk C:\>

just a quick throw in here, I am working up an estimate for a fellow on one
of my lists for a custom built 2.5 320 Gb external drive, if your interested
in one just let me know and I'll publish the end price with shipping to the
list.

I custom build computers and peripherals for folks, which has numerous
benefits, and I can make any size drive that is available as an internal
drive into a external. the benefit to this is if the case fails or is
damaged, it can be replaced and the information on the drive stays there so
you don't lose it, if the drive fails, or if you just want to increase its
capacity, you or I can remove the old drive, and replace it with a new one
for quite a bit less than a already assembled external drive unit. there are
now also 2.5 inch stacked drive cases which allow you to use two 2.5 inch
drives, for a safety striped array configuration; in which if one drive goes
bad, a new one can be put in the case, and with a command in the html
interface window, the old drives contents can be reassembled from images
kept in the "stripe" on the other drive.

one large note! as much as I wish it was not so, the cost for me to ship
outside of the continental US tends to drive my end cost over the amounts of
purchasing a ready made drive in your own country, so if your not in the
continental U.S. it won't be worth it unless you have no! way to get
somewhere to get one on your own.

inthane
