It isn't the crack. The crack included the file, [mci32.exe and mci32.dll]. I didn't run the crack. I didn't just magically get it iether. So, I 1. think its a group of iether cracks or files that our bound with the mci32.exe and dll. or 2. This was totally a mistake (i doubt), such as a behind the seens microsoft security update that has a update to sapi for vista, but actually screws up xp. Seems like in order to get this virus it is necessary to do something
illegal. Both of the parties you mention have an interest in prosecuting
anyone who runs a Cracking program on Copywrited software. If you fall while 
running out of a store you just robbed because the owner tied a string
across the door, could you file charges against the store owner without
getting charged yourself?

Hello-

It is clear that we are dealing with some one who is spiritually, morally
and mentally disordered.  Still, they are doing serious damage to people.
Do we know if FS, G.W. Micro or any others have turned this info over to the FBI? I understand that the Federal authorities have a special division for 
tracking down these kinds of crimes.  If it has not been reported I will
forward the information to the FBI for an investigation.

If any one reading this knows of specific people who have been victims of
this Trojan and they are willing to talk to the Federal authorities, can
they please contact me or contact FS to see what they are doing.
