Thanks it works exactly the same in Outlook. You would can not imagine how
long I've been trying to sort something so simple.

I use Outlook Express with Office 2003, but hope this may help.
 
When there is an Email attachment I hit control + home while in the body of
the message to get to the top. Then I hit shift + Tab and that highlights
the attachment or attachments. If there is more than one, I tab till I
highlight the one I want to open and then hit enter.

Hi,
I'm helping an blind friend who has Jaws V7 with XP pro and MS Office 2007.
My question about finding attachments in Outlook  2007. It seems that if
objects like, word documents, pdf files, etc are attached  to a message then
the "View Attachments" option is listed on the short cut menu and it's easy
to scroll down the list of attachments to open them. However, if the
attachment  is an  email message then "View Attachments" is not listed on
the short cut menu. When the message is opened JAWS reads the message header
and announces that there is an attachment but we can't find a way of getting
into the message header to open the attachment.
