[JAWSLite] Re: Finding Attachments in Outlook

Just use the jaws command of insert plus a (or capslock plus A if on a
laptop) and no matter what kind of attachment, jaws will move you to the
list of attachments. Just press enter on the desired attachment then to
open it.

Subject: [JAWSLite] Finding Attachments in Outlook

        Hi,
I'm helping an blind friend who has Jaws V7 with XP pro and MS
Office 2007. My question about finding attachments in Outlook 2007. It
seems that if objects like, word documents, pdf files, etc are attached
to a message then the "View Attachments" option is listed on the short
cut menu and it's easy to scroll down the list of attachments to open
them. However, if the attachment is an email message then "View
Attachments" is not listed on the short cut menu. When the message is
opened JAWS reads the message header and announces that there is an
attachment but we can't find a way of getting into the message header to
open the attachment.
        Thanks
        Howard
