[JAWSLite] Re: FW: Freedom Suing GW Micro

Well, I don't think this should be off topic at all. It will impact us as
Jaws users no matter how it ends. Too often we sit with our heads in the
perverbial sand, and this is information we all should know in order to make
informed decisions about a company we may choose or not choose to do
business with in the future based on actions it takes.

I find the actions of FS very distasteful in this matter based on the very
little information I have. However, if my stating this means I should then
leave this list, I will. I don't like this kind of behaviour, and I doubt if
FS will ever see a penny of mine again for this and other reasons.

Disgustedly,

Jean

I thought the JAWS users would be as interested in this development as
anyone.

It looks to me like blind users are the obvious losers here, if as is
claimed, capabilities of a screen reader can be patented so that no
other products to aid blind users can make use of them. =20

Absolutely, unbelievable, and what a loss for us all.
