Hi Dave,

I bet you have Jaws set to read all with insert-s. See if that's it and set 
it to read highlighted. I just set it to all and got the results you 
described.

Hope that's your solution.

Hello;

I am running Jaws 10 on a xp pro system,  with MS Word 2003 on both my home
and work machines.
Every time I open a document or alt/tab to one on the work machine I get the
verbiage of what is below.

Microsoft Word
Reviewing
Menu Bar
File Edit View Insert Format Tools Table Window Help
Adobe PDF Acrobat Comments Type a question for help
Page Sec At Ln Col REC TRK EXT OVR

The top line is the title bar and the bottom is the status window.  These
are expected.  The other junk I can not get rid of.  It does not appear on
my home system.  Can anyone point me to the setting that will shut up the
garbage?
