there are a number of programs out there that can recover items even at 
times... stress the at times after a partition has been removed, a huge 
question is did you repartition and/or reformat the drive after removing the 
partition(s)?

each thing you do makes the recovery process less and less likely, in your 
case, it will be very difficult.

I am still working on finding a jaws friendly recovery software myself, and 
need one that can rebuild damaged data files, and would gladly let you know 
if and when I have found one that works well.
