It should be under the "Virtual cursor settings under the verbosity settings in
IE. If you go and look at that the first setting under the "virtual cursor
settings explains how it works. Once you select your setting it will stay that
way.

Version 9 of Jaws featured something new to copy html coding on web pages. I
know there is a way to make it copy the way it used to, perhaps something in
the verbosity options. What is it exactly and how do I make it the default?
