Brian,
This is a good point; but for some reason, it only happens when outlook
is first started; each time you return to the outlook window it is then
focused correctly.
I will go investigate the Vista indexer, but there are still many many
people on xp, and I think Google desktop is quite useful to them.
I guess I'll need to go trackdown an article comparing it to vista
indexer, especially to see how many file types vista indexer will index.
One of the nice features of google desktop is that with an optional
component, it will index .chm files, and I've got a lot of e-books in
that format.
