If you still want to use ad-ware, you must upgrate to ad-ware 2007. But it not
screen reader support.

Steve Gomes menulis:

what happened to ad-aware. Why doesn't it work? I know that when you try to
update the definitions you will get an error. Why can't
we overcome this by using the jaws cursor instead of manually downloading the
definitions file.

I got one I use alot. I have XP now. It's pretty screen-reader friendly. In
the Preferences, you just need to route Jaws to PC
and read the options, and you can check and uncheck preferred items easily. I
use the free version. Better than Spybot. You can get
it at:

    Hope this helps,

I am running XP Pro, and running jaws 9 latest update. Since add aware
won't work now, what to use, where to get it, and how
to use it? My virus program is AVG pro edition. Its subscription will run out
in a month, so any good ideas are appreciated.
      Thanks for your help,
      Jim
