Damien,
I just purchased a laptop, which in my opinion is the best ultra-portable on
the North American market. I chose to go with Windows Vista Business, because
I figured I had to learn it eventually and I was fairly confident that JAWS
would work with it adequately. I have had no problems with JAWS and Vista, I
have been able to do and access anything that I have wanted, without having to
use any real technical skill.
FYI, my laptop configuration is below:
Fujitsu Lifebook P7230
Intel Core Duo u2500 1.2ghz
2GB RAM (1GB would be sufficient)
60GB HDD (80GB is available)
Wireless A/B/G and bluetooth
DVD-RW
Upto 9.75hrs of battery with optional modular battery (swaps with DVD-RW (I
have been incredibly happy with battery life).

Subject: [JAWSLite] Advice please.
Hi everyone.
I'm looking to buy a new laptop and want to use jaws 8 with it. Would I be
better going for the vista opperating system or staying with windows xp? Also,
any advice on tec specs would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Damien O'Connor.
