I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure there isn't a separate install
image or binary for the accessibility support in Adobe Reader. I've
never installed anything but the mainstream version of Adobe Reader, and
I always use Adobe's automatic updates whenever they're available. Also,
I don't believe it detects that you're running access software at
download time but rather at execution time, and the first time you
execute it in particular. I think AIM, NoteTab Pro and probably other
applications do this as well. Also, Adobe Reader 9 was not the first
version it started doing this. It was introduced in Adobe Reader 8 if
not even before that.
