When the Adobe Acrobat Reader version 5 first became accessible to JAWS, you
had to download a special version of the reader. The support was not in the
standard reader at that time. I think this was true for a couple of later
versions of the reader as well. I don't know when accessibility was
incorporated into the standard Adobe Reader.

Good afternoon,
I do not believe that there is any difference in the Acrobat Reader
downloaded from the Accessibility page and the standard page of the
Adobe site. Perhaps it is just the page that is more accessible.
It would make no sence from a development perspective to develop two
branches of the application.
