[jaws-uk] Re: stuttering when selecting text in word

Hi again it is a long shot but has the cursor widened? I only ask because in the past, I had a fully qualified technician skilled in using Jaw who spent over 3 hours trying to stop Jaws stammering, when he finally did it I asked him what fixed it,he said to be honest I am so tired I am not sure the only thing I really noticed is that the Cursor had widened
It is interesting that it happens if you are selecting wont the colour change then? You will most likely fix it and not know the cause, I eventually found the cause in my case but it was a long long struggle. You could try another repair are you using Plain Text? Anyway Good luck. I only know problems sadly name a problem and I have had it! Hi All:

As the subject says, JAWS 9, XP Pro, Office 2k3, Dell Optiplex 3100.

When selecting a line of text with shift_end in Word,
'shift print screen' is spoken, following which a repeated sibilance is
emitted ad infinitum.

Any answers welcomed?
