Thanks Carol, I have taken a look and it looks confusing. I will leave well
alone until I have some help.
Good to hear you again.
Cheers
Ron

Ron, you can still use MSCONFIG. There are a few more tabs before you
get to the Advanced and there's also a section for seeing what processes
are started. (Be careful not to shut off anything you don't know
about.)
On the first tab you have a Startup selection. If you're loading
everything that has been set to load, this will be set to "Normal". I
choose not to load everything and a few items I can't find to stop
loading at Startup, so mine's currently in Selective Startup mode, with
a box unchecked so that I'm not told about it every time I boot.
HTH:
Others may have additional comments as I've only done what I think is
right with this programme now.

Hello All, can anyone tell me the keystroke to take me to the place
where I
can see what is starting up on my system? I seem to have a lot of
programmes loading up.
I used to type in MSCONFIG before I had X P. Can anyone help please?
Ron
