hi pete,
thanks for that and i am sure they would have a german voice especially for 
jaws german users  hmmm have to check it out but i thought i had read somewhere 
that one can buy extra voices ,personally i cant understand why we get english 
and american but such is life eh .thanks for taking the time to reply anyway

  They will only work if you have a sapi voice with German phonetics, the ones 
that come with JAWS only speak in various types of English and Spanish, I have 
no idea if Realspeak produce a German voice.

        Yes, you should be able to. Jaws will pick up whichever is the default 
SAPI 5 voice selected in your Windows settings.

    hi list,
    can anyone tell me  if we can use realspeak voices purchased from other 
sources than via fs ,i notice that there is no german on the realspeak disc 
this is important to me as i am a german language student well night schooler 
actually  and although eliquence speaks reasonably i was looking forward to 
realspeak voice to help ,
