Paul,
I'm not sure what is going on at your end, it's difficult to do this kind of
support via email, I have talked people through installing Real Player with
no problem, but I've done it live online with Skype or some other clients
which allow for voice communication, that way I can hear the other person's
screen reader and can give guidance based on what I hear.
If you would like any help with installing Real Player and taming it down,
and you have Skype, please let me know.
