Dear Iain, Many thanks. I agree, it's pretty dreadful, but it will be a real help if all else fails. Be warned, it sounds really horrible. Could you kindly tell me where you found it. I've had a search, without any success. I presume you then put a shortcut on your Desktop. With very best wishes, Keith -----Original Message----- From: jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jaws-uk-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Joan Muir Sent: 01 January 2006 20:24 To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: problem with jaws Hi, Keith, I had a similar problem some months ago after installing automatic updates. Luckily for me, a sighted friend arrived and saw the message about video intercept. She downloaded this and I was fine. The first thing I did was to ask the list how to bring up Narrator, so that I can maybe manage myself if this occurs again. Best wishes, Joan. ----- Original Message ----- From: "keith" <keith@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, January 01, 2006 6:43 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] Re: problem with jaws > Dear Husna, > > It's very interesting that you should raise this point today, as I had > experience of something either the same, or very similar, happen to me > today. > > I guess that by the time you read this, others on the list will have been > able to help you.
