Hi

If you have scripting knowledge, if I recall the script can be easily
altered to read information in a different order. All the information
is there, such as the cell data itself, the column header and the
co-ordinates, so you can change the components to read in whatever order
you like. The script is SayCell to be found in microsoft word.jss.

Subject: [jaws-uk] order of reading in tables

Hi all.
I am working with a client who has a large word table which she uses
regularly to submit statistics. She wants to have the colum titles read
to her as she moves from cell to cell with the tab key.

I turned reading of column titles on and defined the relevant row as
containing the column headers and jaws reads the colum titles correctly
as I tab through.

The problem is that JAWS reads the column heading before the cell
contents and I think it would be better the other way round. is there a
way to change this?

Regards

Graham
