[jaws-uk] Re: norton internet security

In theory you can update the subscription for a product whose subscription has
expired.
This I think would be the page you want:
http://www.symantecstore.com/dr/sat4/ec_main.entry25?page=HHOSubscriptionRenewalInd&client=Symantec&sid=49997&CID=189236

However when I tried to pretend to purchase an renewal of the product it said
that it was not available to united kingdom customers.

  Subject: [jaws-uk] norton internet security

  Hi,

I have Norton internet security 2005 installed on my computer. however, when
the subscription period was about to run out my computer broke down for a
while so that I could not resubscribe. eventually I got the computer fixed
but now I find that NIS will not let me update. when I go into NIS there are
no buttons or anything. I was wondering what would be the best thing to do
now, should I try to uninstall NIS and reinstall it? although I have heard
that uninstalling nis is difficult. or can I get a new subscription for
nis2005 and install it without uninstalling the old nis version first?

  any suggestions will be helpful.

  thanks,
  Husna
