[jaws-uk] midi files

Hi I have recently downloaded midi files off the internet to transfer to a
memory stick and the play on my yamaha keyboard. When I click on the file in
question it opens windows media player but no sound (music track) can be heard.
any other file or sound can be heard through wmp but not these ones. Has
anybody got any ideas why this should be happening? Many thanks in advance
