Hi Tony,

Press insert j to open up the JFW menu, find the utilities submenu and enter 
it, then find configuration manager and enter, press alt s for set options, 
arrow down to text processing and enter, then tab to "detect language" and 
press space to uncheck the check box, then tab to ok and enter, then close with 
alt f4, you will be prompted to save changes or cancel, so hit yes to save 
changes, then restart JFW for your change to take effect.

I think that's all you need, if you want any more help just shout.

  hi all,
  i am so out of my depth here,just installed jfw 6.10 from jfw 4.51 and its 
screwing my head up,when on web pages i get english voice and in send space 
case american automaticaly swapping fron one to the other now you may say that 
isnt to bad and can be lived with and i agree but today i went to a site 
translated from the german site oh the chaos  jfw speaking with heavily 
accented german and then english just drives me nuts so please pretty please 
how can i get rid of this automatically voice swapping but please keep it 
simple i am a technophobe lol,dence in other words,
