[jaws-uk] Re: help needed with media player

Jane,
There are people on this list who supply computers for the visually impaired
and will know what parts to use to make sure it is compatible with Jaws.

it going once since your first lot of instructions wondered what to do next
apart from buying a new machine, and on that note, can anyone recommedn someone
who could help me out with purchasing a new computer with all new faciliteis,

Jane, windows key and P for Programmes then enter. Now press and hold down
the insert key on the number pad with the little finger on your right hand and
your index finger on the right control panel. Whilst holding these down press
the letter V with the index finger of your left hand. This should tell you the
version. If your computer is fairly new it will be version 9 or even 10.

Jane, I don't know which version of Windows Media player you have? I
just go into the programmes menu and press W until the player comes up. Then
press enter and it should play.

        Cheers

        Ron
