hi George,
thanks for that,
forgive me but I haven't been able to fully follow the subject line of this =20
ect
business.
I see it is at the bottom of your email to me here.
what does it mean?
Susan

Susan,
To remove the "quoted text" indicator from outgoing
messages, you need to do it via Outlook Express itself.
However, from your reply message below, my guess is that you
do not have this set up.

hi Maggie,
many thanks, believe it or not it has made life much easier
as regards not having to listen to those horrendous greater
signs any more.
tell me, if I send some one an email now will the email not
have the greater signs in it neither?
thanks
Susan

Hi Susan,
You just do it from Outlook Express and its a one time
exercise. As long as
you don't press control shift D when you open dictionary
manager, it will
only affect Outlook, and you will still hear greater than
signs when you are
in other programmes.
Regards,
Maggie
