I am sorry I have mislaid your earlier problems. I would not do a Defrag
unless your friend is around. Have you tried disconnecting the Printer
completely and trying it?  Have you tried turning all off at main switches
for a while? I do not know if you have Wireless connection or a Modem,
however. I wonder if you have enough of what they call Available Ram, I am
totally ignorant I fear in technical matters but something about your
problem rings a bell with me.  Dorothy      Ps if you have a wireless
connection where is the router situated? is it high enough not in a Basket
under the desk?  I was so ignorant I  once had mine  under  the desktop in a
Wire basket and the connection went to earth.  faraday cage  effect. sorry I
