Well done Alex. I'm going to put the very latest version of JAWS on my
PC this weekend, and that should sort it out once and for all. I'm
running the slightly previous 9.0 update, but we've tested it here and
you're right.

I've got the latest jaws 9, and decided to stay with AVG 7.5 to see
whether or not the problems being experienced by some jaws users would
be resolved somehow, either by Freedom or AVG. I noticed this message
concerning the latest version of jaws and upgraded my AVG to version 8
and it runs fine without any problems. I would say to anyone to go
ahead if you've got the latest updates to jaws and update your AVG.

I thought this was fixed in the last JAWS update? See the following
from FS's web page.
"Enhancements in JAWS 9.0.2169 (May 2008) The following reported items
were addressed in this update.
All enhancements since the initial public beta release are included in
the update.

application while JAWS is running."

To my knowledge, there isn't yet a fix from Grisoft about JAWS clashing
with the AVG interface, though they are aware of it. As another lister
suggests, until such time as there is a fix, unload JAWS, go into AVG,
then load JAWS up again. This should allow you to do everything you
need.
