Hi there,

can anyone help with my keyboard jaws issue?

I've bought two new keyboards in the space of a few months and neither of them
work properly with jaws.

If I hit alt-F4, for instance, it doesn't close the program, it performs
another function. In Internet Explorer, for instance, it opens up a new window.

It causes issues with jaws keys like insert-F7 in IE as well, instead of
bringing up a links list it brings up graphics labeller that you'd usually get
if you hit insert-G.

I've just tried out insert-F7 in Outlook Express and oddly it has gone and
launched iTunes and has started laying a Badly Drawn Boy album for no
particular reason. That's insert-f7, not any of the multimedia buttons or
anything clever like that.

I installed the CD of the new keyboard too and it makes no difference. I looked
and it does appear that the driver has changed in control panel so I can only
guess that it's running the new drivers correctly as it sees it.

So, a few questions really:
1: what on earth is going on?
2: how can I make it just think that this is a normal generic keyboard? (it
does have some extra multimedia buttons all over it but I've had multimedia
keyboards before that were no problem)

Any tips much appreciated. This is a lovely logitech keyboard with a really
nice feel to it and I really want to get it working properly.

Thanks all

...Damon
