Thank you again for your help, sorry to write to you again
but having re-read your reply to my initial message, I
thought I aught to reply to you again.

I did find I could play files with WMP, but I've given the
settings you talked about a quick look as well as taking the
advice given in Phil Medway's reply to my first message on
this thread, so I hope that my WMP issues are now resolved,
but I'll come back to the list again if I need any further
advice on this subject.
