It seems that Jaws is triggered into reading the list item too soon, and once
it's read the item which hasn't yet been removed from the list, then that's it.
Window-eyes does the same, but NVDA gets it right - it waits until the item is
removed from the list and then reads the item that replaces it.

Interesting David, thanks for taking the time to look. You do seem to be right,
there is a slight pause while the email deletes itself. Jaws still doesn't read
the next email automatically though, even when left for a matter of long
seconds. Curious.
