[jaws-uk] Re: Wiltshire website.

Bob

Which version of JAWS do you have? I have 6.1, and as far as exploring the
site goes I have no trouble at all. All the meals and descriptions are
read, and everything else on the site. The problem I have is adding items
to my basket. This seems to take ages, and as we have already mentioned,
Matthew thinks it has something to do with them using Ajax. I have pointed
out to Matthew that many of us may have earlier versions of JAWS than
version 7, which seems to be what he has designed the site for.

By all means write to him, and tell him which version you have.

Wendy

Wendy
I have been having problems with trying to use the Wiltshire Farm Foods
website. I have contacted the Company several times without any success and
I am very pleased to hear that at last they are going to improve their
accessibility for blind users. I am unable to get Jaws to read the details
of items on the menu, my screen reader just keeps saying 'bullet' instead of

reading the details of each particular meal. I also have difficulty in
signing on although I have managed this occasionally by using the Jaws
cursor. I am now going to reply to the address supplied to add my own
experiences of the website.

Bob
