How wonderful and unusual to find a business so interested in improving
access. If I ever want to buy food in this way wiltshirefarmfoods will be
at the top of my list. Thank you for taking your vi customers seriously.
Best regards
Amie

Hello All,
I thought it would be easier for me to directly subscribe to the JAWS-UK
list!
I've been tackling JAWS over the last couple of days, trying to find out
where wiltshirefarmfoods.com is falling over with it. With my first
attempt I was ready to through my laptop out the window but I think I am
getting the hang of it now!
I've got a couple of questions:
1) When trying to use the site, it has become extraordinarily cumbersome.
This is because of all the extra work we've done with our marketing
agency, who insist on having lots of keywords and descriptions and text
throughout the site. I was thinking, would it be a much better idea for us
to develop a specific VI website? I often think that it's quite rude to
have "an accessible version", which in my mind implies that you're not
getting the full opportunity of the main site. What do you guys think?
Having a VI website would allow us to concentrate on making it purely
about ordering, so you'll get product headers, product descriptions and
prices, and a checkout process, without all the marketing fluff.
2) We've recently made live a Quick Order page, so customers can just type
in product codes and quantities, then checkout. However, this requires an
encyclopaedic knowledge of our product range! I'm planning this weekend to
personally record the our product listings, then split the recording into
several MP3's by meal type, like, beef.mp3, chicken.mp3, new products.mp3
and most popular.mp3 . Would this be of interest? I am imagining you could
use the quickorder function whilst having the MP3's playing in the
background in itunes or similar?
Anyway, I hope you can point me in the right direction as to what I should
be doing.
Look forward to hearing from you,
Matthew Curry
