Hi Wendy,
I don't know anything about the unloading of Jaws by the media player but
the sound which you hear when pressing a key or trying to navigate is often
caused by the top and bottom edge alert feature which seems to lock the
cursor under certain circumstances. You can usually free the cursor up
again using the screen refresh which is JawsKey+escape.

Subject: [jaws-uk] WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER PROBLEM
Friends
I have just seen a message on another list regarding Windows Media Player,
and as I am having the same problems, I thought I would paste the question
below to see if anyone can throw any light on it.
Wendy
"When I open WMP11, it appears to unload JFW [6.2]. after using a hot key to
reload JFW, when I go to the desk top to select a programme via it's short
cut key, each key press is followed by the clunk sound that seems to suggest
something is wrong, even though things seem to be working.
Anybody know why any of the above happens?"
