If you are using Internet Explorer, you might consider taking a different approach by using a different browser, I have found that if some sites are difficult to use with Explorer, Firefox often works, it's worth a shot.

No me neither - haven't had a problem.  Sorry that doesn't help you
Barbara.  Maybe it's something to do with that specific shop -
shouldn't be as I think the interface for verified by visa is the same
all over but maybe something odd has happened with that particular
site...

Have you tried refreshing JAWS's view of the screen with JAWS Escape?
Or maybe turn off virtual cursor then on again by pressing JAWS z.

  I am using JAWS 9, Windows XP and IE 7.

  When checking out of an online shop which uses Verified By Visa, I can
only find the verification screen when using the JAWS cursor and therefore 
can't input my password without turning JAWS off and getting a sighted
person to place me in the edit box. I can use the Mastercard verification 
process fine, but the Visa one seems inaccessible.

  Has anyone else experienced this problem and do they know any ways to
solve it?
