Subject: [jaws-uk] Vanishing emails
Dear List,
The other day I had a fright, all my emails on my desktop vanished
completely, due to a lot of noise and drilling on a house just up hill of
me I couldn't hear Jaws, so I did my best. not only did emails all vanish
but so did Outlook express,,I was very scared as last year when a Trojan got
me it cleaned off my laptop and in addition shook off Outlook express on my
desktop, the laptop lost all data completely but the desktop whilst
vanishing was it seems uninstalled, thus system restore wouldn't fix it, a
visiting engineer said it is"add and remove and got all back. however to
loose an entire programme again scared me my Laptop was Ok so I sent an
S.O.S. for help. and friend said try going into run dialogue box and typing
Msimn I did this and mercifully all came back Outlook express and some
hundreds of Emails, I write this in case it ever happens to you Regards
Dorothy
