Hi,
Go into the application you want to change. Press Insert D for the
Dictionary Manager. On the Add button press enter. You will now find
yourself in the first of two fields.
In the first field press the GreaterThan key (shift period) and then tab to
the next field. Now press the spacebar once. Tab to the Ok button,
activate this and save the changes.
You have now effectively told Jaws to treat the GreaterThan character as a
space and it should say nothing. You don't actually get rid of the
character.
Regards
David

Hi I just wondered if someone could help me, I want to get rid of these
greater than signs in an e-mail in Outlook, I know you can use the Jaws
dictionary to get rid of it but could someone tell me how to do it = please,
I've never used the dictionary manager before. I tried looking at the =
help but it didn't make much sense to me, so if someone can give me an =
idiot's way of doing it I would be grateful.
