[jaws-uk] Tilda dollars

Hi list in my Documents I have three Documents now called tilda dollar docs, they did not start out like that so did they become Corrupted somehow, are they rtemporary files? should I delete tham, if I agree to windows looking for a "converter it has no joy and asks me to install my Small Business file, but that was installed long ago. why does a file become a Tilda Dollar is it my fault?
What could cause it am I safe to delete it Dorothy
