[jaws-uk] Re: Thunderbird Help

Hi Amro.
I use Thunderbird, but know nothing of screen settings.
It is a bit peculiar, but if you select the In Box and tab 4 or 5 times
you'll get the list of messages.
Looking at the menus will give you the hot keys for most things, but
here are a couple of oddities.
On starting the program it will check for new messages

, but to have them displayed you must press ctrl+shift+T
To save an attachment it's the usual alt, then f then A, following which
use the arrow keys to decide what to do with said attachment.

The oddest thing is when composing a message.
Ctrl+N gets you into the compose screen, but when you type, your
contact's e-mail address, the first field, Jaws doesn't echo the text.
Tab gets you to the Subject field, and if you now do a shift+Tab to
take you back, the address field is there, and you may modify it if you
got it wrong.

Ctrl+Enter sends the message.

(When I installed it, it somehow grabbed all address book entries from
my previous O E application, thus saving trouble.)
