Hello Dorothy,
Think back have you been doing anything with Images or Graphic's or Web
pages or playing around with a program connected with Graphic's such as
"Fireworks, as the three state buttons are to do with that, these 2, 3 or 4
states give web page users additional visual cues, it sounds like you have
started creating a three state button and it is waiting for the next
command.
This might be the reason you are having problems with your internet
connections, maybe it is trying to connect and thus stopping you sometimes
and letting you in at other times.
Phill

I am typing from the laptop. The same odd business on desktop continues
to
plague me, connection may let one or 2 out then the error message but it
lets all-in. Not logical. I am line no good. I am putting Lunar
through it's paces in all programmes I am likely to use. However on the
desktop the words Three state button keep on nagging . I think I may have
triggered it accidentally. What does it mean and how do I get rid of it.
Incidentally sighted people had a go at the curious business the computer
letting all in and one out maybe once a day.Thank goodness for the
laptop.Dorothy at.
