Agreed Ian. Since Communication is so essential in today's world, = screen readers, and a good one too, is very much essential. I have lost count = of the times I have battled to get a pc running well because it crashed. = My pc is pen, paper, independence, and communication to me. This is why I go = up the wall when companies don't hold the same views about the pc's owned = by blind individuals. Jaws eight should be installable, it's not on my pc. = I tried today, and although it was installed, and was loaded into memory, = it didn't talk, even when I repaired it. I tried everything to get it to = work. Now jaws 7.1.0.500 works fine. Me thinks eight is busted. I haven't = got anything special in the pc department. Hope to hear from you soon. From Martin.
