It is impossible to say haw far back System Restores can go
because of three main factors.

1) What percentage of disk space has been allocated.
2) How large the disk drive is.
3) How much software, etc., you have on your system.

I suggest your system needs re-building from the ground up,
after saving essential material.

yes Andrew thank you this by the way is the laptop I have
run Belark
advisor and gathered all the information you need and sent
it out as an
attachment it was quite large, I am not sure how far back
you can do a
system restore remember I have the external Western digital
bac up  on since
I
think June and I think the full system scan  performed at
Midday both scans
the external Hd also,  wonder if  trojans can penetrate the
External Drive,
I know you are out now, but if anyone on the list knows how
far back you can
