[jaws-uk] Temporary Files

Dear Dorothy and List:

A temporary file is a file that is needed for a while to do
something, but is not required to be around permanently.  An
example of a temporary file is one of the work files required by
a program while it is running, but may be deleted upon the
completion of the program.

Hope this explains temporary files.
