[jaws-uk] Re: Tandem feature

The controller, usually the person providing the assistance, needs to have an authorised copy of Jaws 10. This cannot be a dongle version.
The client machine, usually the recipient of the assistance, must have at least a demo copy of Jaws 10 installed. If the client's copy of Jaws 10 is a demo, it will only run for 40 minutes after which the machine must be rebooted before another 40 minutes of Jaws use.
I have found that conducting a Tandem session is much more productive when combined with a Skype session which allows me to explain to the client what I am doing. 

I have recently received the following information from Sight and sound:
The Freedom Scientific Tandem server is to remain free to use until March 9th after which it is thought that an annual charge of from £100 to £120 will be payable by regular controllers of Tandem sessions.

No party has to have jaws pro for this to work. I don't think fs have
determined the fees for this. There was mention though that casual users
would be able to use this service for free, I assume that there will be a
monthly time limit to how much one would be able to use it. It is also worth remembering that only the person who wants to take control of someone else's 
computer will need to pay, but the person who is receiving help will not
need to pay anything.

Someone  happened to mention the Tandem feature of Jaws ten will be  free
only for a short time then charged on a monthly basis. I know George said 
distance did not matter for the Tandem feature to be usable, but  as I
understand it 1 party must be using Jaws professional, the otherneed not? 
However regarding the fees of the Service can someone enlighten me. I may
have missed a Post on the List about it
