Marvin,

Don't know if this is anything to do with your particular problem but, if
you log in to your account on the web and then go to "Settings" and then
"Forwarding and Pop/IMAP" there are some items that might be worth checking.

Note that the "Forwarding and POP/IMAP" option is not spoken by Jaws as a
link but it does appear to work regardless when you hit enter on it - I
think it might be a tab name or something but as long as you can get to the
page, who cares! Also, the settings you want are a good way down the page,
well after the Flash animation.

On the page that you will get here, there are a number of settings to do
with what Gmail is to do with your messages e.g. keep them in your In Box,
delete them from the Gmail folder etc. It is probably worth double checking
your settings here in case there is a contradiction between what is stored
in your on-line settings and the settings within Outlook Express. Also
remember that, if you make any changes, you need to tab to the button for
saving the changes and hit Enter.

Hope this helps.

Jamie

Subject: [jaws-uk] Strange GMail Problem

Hi.
okay, for starters, have looked on gmail, help pages, and have
searched google, and have read the online help in outlook express 6,
but some real strange problems.
now some times, when using the gmail web interface, some times i get
copies of previous messages, and when i am using outlook express, it
downloads all my previous messages i had sent, and set outlook express
advanced mail settings, and unchecked leave a copy on the server.
so if there are any expert gmail users, who may have encountered this
problem before, how did you fix those problems?
just starting to annoy me, and have noticed this for several weeks.
so gmail users, got any answers?
i am a bit stumped.
cheers marvin.
