Jim, Is it just in Internet Explorer that this happens or could it be a sticking letter "W" key on your keyboard? Hi Folks, I don't think this is directly a JAWS problem but I would be grateful if any techy's out there might have an answer. Sometimes, not always, when I have pressed Alt+D on the Internet to go to a new web address, the following happens. I start to type www (making sure I only press the w key three times and not holding my finger on that key) JAWS announces about 6 or 7 w's and presto, my computer switches off and restarts again. this has happened about 5 times in the last 4 days. I've got JAWS 8 and I/E 7. Any ideas techy's?
