Hi Jamie,

You might try adjusting the AutoRecover settings.

Tools, Options, Save.

George.

Subject: [jaws-uk] Slightly off topic - Word 2003 slowing
down

Hi there,

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any Microsoft
"features" that might cause Microsoft Word 2003 to slow down
vastly after about 3 or 4 hours - in particular when you
have 2 or more files open and you are switching backwards
and forwards between the files?

I know that there has been previous discussion about memory
leaks relating to Jaws but I'm pretty sure that my problem
is to do with Word because, when you unload and reload the
files, everything is fine again for another couple of hours,
even if Jaws is kept running.

I'm using Jaws 6.10 with Microsoft Word 2003 and Windows XP
Home SP2.

Any thoughts welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Jamie
