I believe that this is a fault in JFW5 that is only corrected in version 6. I'd be happy if someone can tell me different, though, as it's a pain in the neck. I've been using Jaws with the synthesizer called Text Assist for 9 years, but it don't work with XP, to which I recently upgraded, so I've had to use the awful Eloquence. Actually there are some features which this does better, but if I have it yakking away and try to stop it with the Control key, it usually takes a very long time to react. Any ideas? JFW 5.1 and Sound Blaster 5.12, if that matters. ----- Original Message ----- From: tiddy ogg To: jaws-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, April 16, 2005 3:37 PM Subject: [jaws-uk] test - please ignore. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** jaws-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
