Hello Angel,The answer to your question is yes! because JAWS is a designated screen reader it does not relate to what appears on the screen especially when the internet is concerned.
So yes, turn off JAWS when it is not required. Whilst JAWS is reading the screen the sighted person will experience the screen jumping all over the place.
I hope this answers your question. With best wishes, Mike.----- Original Message ----- From: Angel238

Just what is the relationship between how jaws reads and what appears on the screen. My children have always turned off Jaws when they used my computer. They told me because I listen to Jaws at an extremely fast pace they were unable to read what they chose. They said they could read better and scroll better with jaws off. Is this true?
