As yet as far as I imagine there's no version 2. (I may be wrong but I 
haven't seen it.)
Version 1.5 has scripts and they're pretty good. You certainly can work
on 
multitrack view, using most of the features. I've used it to record old
4 
track tapes which were used to make demo CD's and each track can be
worked 
upon, rebalanced and effects added. With appropriate soundcard you can
muse 
multi inputs and outputs. I always had a problem when trying to position

tracks, e.g. perhaps inserting a clip on track 3 at position 1 minute.
It's 
probably my lack of expertise in this - it no doubt can be done by  some

method or other - but overall it works well.
When you know which version you're getting let me know and I'll pass on
the 
relevant scripts or the site you can download them from.

Hi Gordon, I haven't got it yet but will be shortly, am buying it second
hand.  They've kept up to date so will probably have the disks for 1,
1.5 or 2.  In your opinion then, which is the best version, in terms of
accessibility?  Can you successfully manipulate individual tracks?  You
may want to take this off list Gordon if it gets too involved, smiles.
